The publisher of this card, David Wesström, was my father who worked as a bookseller in Båstad between 1932-1979. One of the driving men behind the building of Skånegården between 1916-18 was Ludvig Nobel who came to Båstad in 1905 and whose uncle was Alfred Nobel, the man who founded the Nobel price. And did you know that John F Kennedy stayed at Skånegården with a Swedish woman in 1955?
